The hallmark of a Celebrate Jesus Mission is clarity of the vision to intentionally move toward full obedience to the Great Commission.  Celebrate Jesus is not about strengthening a church or ensuring its survival; it is about having a heart for the lost and the hopeless, it is about desiring for them to know Jesus, it is about recovering connection to the community.  We are not to be so busy saving our own lives (trying to survive in the four walls of our churches), but we are to let go of ourselves (lose our lives) for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ… then and only then will life and vibrancy come in our churches.

Celebrate Jesus is an instrument to form a community out of local churches and their neighborhoods.  Celebrate Jesus encourages churches to vision and implement unique ways to invite, welcome, nurture, and disciple those who respond through prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
