Who Can Come

Celebrate Jesus team members come in all shapes and sizes and ages.  Children from the age of 5, with a parent or guardian, through senior adults are welcome.  They are Christians with a variety of gifts, backgrounds and experiences.  Each team member must complete an application and pay an application fee (see Resources and Forms Section).  Applicants under age 18 must submit a notarized parental release/medical authorization at least one month prior to mission.  Applicants age 18 and older are required to complete a “Criminal Background Check Form” and submit it with their application. (These documents are also found in Resources and Forms Section) .  Once those are received in our office, we request a Pastoral Reference from their home church. Team members are assigned to teams and spend the mission week sleeping at their host church and living in community with a team of approximately 6- 15 other Christians.  The team works with the host church to help them reach their neighborhoods with the love of Jesus, sharing God's love in practical ways such as door-to-door visitation, distributing baked goods to area businesses, cleaning windshields, sharing cold water bottles at parks and beaches, etc.

Three Types of Teams:

•  Youth Team - Ages 13 to 18 years old
•  All Age Team - Age 16 years and up
•  Family Team - Starting at 5 years old, accompanied by parent or legal guardian
