Team Members

Celebrate Jesus team members come in all shapes and sizes and ages. Children from the age of 5, with a parent or guardian, through senior adults are welcome. They are Christians with a variety of gifts, backgrounds and experiences. Each team member must complete an application and pay an application fee (see Forms). Once those are received in our office, we request a Pastoral Reference from their home church and, if a minor, a notarized parental release/medical authorization. Team members are assigned to teams and spend the mission week (or weekend) sleeping on the church floor and living in community with a team of approximately 7- 15 other Christians. The team works with the host church to help them reach their neighborhoods with the love of Jesus, sharing God's love in practical ways such as door-to-door visitation, distributing baked goods to area businesses, cleaning windshields, sharing cold water bottles at parks and beaches, etc.
